Job summary
The Commodity Manager will partner with both Functional leadership and Operations leadership to develop strategies for the supply of Indirect, Packaging, MRO items as well as other related products or services. The Commodity Manager will work with cross-functional teams from Operations and Finance to drive the sourcing and negotiation of Indirect & Packaging supporting CST's operations in the Americas.Responsibilities
- Interact with other Commodity Managers, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality,
and other functional areas in each division/unit to develop and implement commodity
strategies which deliver target performance levels at optimum overall costs. , - Work across divisions/units to identify opportunities for synergy and drive program implementation. ,
- Lead the development of RFQs,
drive analytics and TCO comparisons,
& drive the implementation
& projects/strategies for Indirect,Packaging,MRO items as well as other related products or services. ,
