DeSales University's Department of Social Sciences housed in the Division of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences invites applications for a full-time non-tenure position as Assistant Professor of Psychology to begin August 2024. Candidates must have earned a PsyD or Ph.D. in Clinical, Counselling, or other Applied fields of Psychology from an APA accredited program by the time of appointment or shortly thereafter. License eligibility in the State of Pennsylvania as a Psychologist is preferred. The candidate should be able to teach courses in applied psychology, such as psychometrics, I/O, school psychology, clinical psychology, counseling, and psychological disorders. A university record of teaching is preferred.

The candidate will be expected to mentor students in research projects. The faculty member will be expected to teach undergraduate courses, maintain an active program of scholarship and professional development, and engage in service to the University. Online teaching experience desired.

This is a non-tenure position, but the successful applicant can take advantage of long-term contracts with the possibility of conversion to tenure in the future.
