    Description

    We are seeking a certified educational therapist to join our team at Russell County School District.

    Job Summary

    The Speech Language Pathologist Teacher will be responsible for providing speech and language therapy services to students in grades 6-12.

    This is a nine-month contract position with a salary range based on the teacher's salary schedule and work experience.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide speech and language therapy services to students in grades 6-12
    • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to meet the needs of students
    • Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to support student learning

    Requirements

    • Certification by the State of Alabama in any area
    • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited educational institution
    • Teaching experience preferred
    • Must meet background clearance requirements as specified by Alabama Statutes and State Board of Education regulations
