- Hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Have reliable transportation to the work site daily (owning a vehicle is a must).
- Preferably possess a high school diploma or GED.
- Demonstrate proficiency in English communication.
- Capable of understanding and following instructions accurately.
- Ability to lift and carry weights exceeding 90 pounds.
- Able to push and pull up to 90 pounds.
- Capable of standing or walking for up to 8 hours daily.
- Proficient in digging/excavating with a hand shovel for up to 6 hours daily.
- Previous experience in operating a loader and skid steer is advantageous.
- Interpreting blueprints to design pipe routes and align pipeline sections.
- Using trenching tools to dig trenches.
- Cutting pipes to required lengths and placing them in trenches.
- Guiding tractor drivers on pipe placement for connections.
- Checking slopes for compliance using levels and lasers.
- Inspecting pipe joints and couplings to ensure correct spacing.
- Laying pipes for storm or sanitation sewers, drains, and water mains.
- Grading trenches or culverts and sealing joints.
- Performing other assigned tasks.
