IT Business Analyst Location:
Houston, TX

Office Status:
Remote

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for IT projects across engineering, supply chain, and operations domains/business units.

Work closely with project managers and the business to track and report on project status, identifying red, yellow, and green issues within the pipeline.

Utilize documentation templates and methodologies to create effective business requirements documents. Improve the quality of documentation related to business requirements and project requirements documentation. Liaise with IT and Business resources to extend expertise across different business groups, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Facilitate meetings and workshops to elicit requirements and ensure a shared understanding among stakeholders. Conduct UAT - own the test case creation and documentation process.

Assist in the estimation process when establishing project priorities, leveraging the expertise of IT resources, and collaborating with key stakeholders.

Maintain effective communication with project teams and stakeholders to ensure project success and alignment with business objectives.


Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Business Analyst in a manufacturing or business transformation environment. Strong understanding of IT BA principles and methodologies. Previous experience in discreet manufacturing, engineering, product development, or product manufacturing industries is necessary. Experience with multiple ERP systems and familiarity with various business applications. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams. Proficiency in documenting business requirements and facilitating requirements gathering sessions - communication skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to travel occasionally as required.
