- Scan packing slips and MTRs to be placed in job folder.
- Verify MTRs match material on packing slips.
- Contact vendor on MTR issues, copy Fabrication Superintendent and Material Coordinator After a second notification to vendor, email Material Coordinator, copy vendor asking for assistance.
- Immediately notify the Material Coordinator when material needs to be quarantined or has been cleared.
- Receive material in Spectrum database.
- Resolve all issues related to the purchase orders with procurement and/or accounting. Include Fabrication Superintendent and Material Coordinator in all correspondence pertaining to issues.
- Update Master purchase order log in projects folder.
- Update as material is received. Make notes of material issues Backup purchase order log each day by close of business.
- Maintains receiving information on receiving/shipping board in common area of shipping office.
- Vendor and purchase order number to be written in receiving material.
- Create delivery tickets for trucking company, delivery location, and job folder.
- Email delivery tickets to Project Managers, Fabrication Superintendent and Material Coordinator Scan all signed delivery tickets from drivers and place them in job folder with shipping documents.
- Scan material movement logs to shared drive.
- Scan DRL, email to Fabrication Manager, Project Managers, Fabrication Superintendent and Material Coordinator at the close of business each day.
- Create spreadsheets in Excel as needed.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience or comparable experience
- Must be detail-oriented and accurate.
- Ability to communicate well with others.
- Proficient with emails, Microsoft and excel spread sheets.
- Work overtime as required.
- Industrial construction experience a plus
- Ability to walk, stand or sit for extended periods.
- Dexterity of hand and fingers to operate a computer keyboard.
- Vision: Must possess vision (which may be corrected) to read small print and computer screens.
- Ability to carry twenty-five pounds.
