- Operate head or body x-ray scanners that create a computer-generated cross-sectional image, commonly called a CAT (Computed Axial Tomography) Scan
- Responsible for educating and preparing patients for their examinations
- Provide patient care that is essential to the performance of a variety of procedures
- Take patient medical history before an exam
- Position patients so desired anatomy will be demonstrated
- Determine and set appropriate technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology

Job Description- Computed Tomography
Computed Tomography (C.T.) A technologist is a highly skilled professional who uses specialized computerized x-ray equipment to produce cross-sectional images of the human anatomy which aid radiologists in diagnosing a wide variety of diseases and disorders.
Requirements for this role are:
Busy ED with at least 2CT techs on all shifts, this shift will have 3 techs.
Patient care tech leaves at 11pm, at that point all patient escorts need to be done by CT Tech.
1GE CT scanner in the ED with another HE scanner in the main Xray dept, PACS is Client, EMR is EPIC.

Lifting Requirements Heavy lifting:
up to 100 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 50 lbs. Must be able to stand, stoop lift and walk without restrictions.
Frequent physical demands include:
Push/Pull, Twisting, Bending, Reaching forward, Reaching overhead, Squat/kneel/crawl, Wrist position deviation, Pinching/fine motor activities, Keyboard use/repetitive motion, Taste or Smell
Occasional physical demands include:
Sitting, Climbing (e.g., stairs or ladders)
Continuous physical demands include:
