• CPV Michelin is a builder of Molds for Tire production. The CNC Machinist is a technical position responsible for operating various CNC machines to produce quality machine parts while maximizing production and ensuring quality standards.
• Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree in Machine Tool/CNC Technology OR 2 to 3 years experience in CNC Machining OR Military Experience in the CNC machining field.
• Starting Salary: $32.63

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Align and secure fixtures, cutting tools, and materials onto machines.
• Select appropriate tools and materials for machine work.
• Perform first piece inspection using precision instruments.
• Detect equipment malfunctions and adjust machines as needed.
• Operate a forklift as required.
• Follow safety regulations.
• Maintain equipment and work area cleanliness.
• Rotate shifts and be available for call-in work.
• Must have basic math skills and ability to read blueprints.
• Knowledge of metric and standard units and measuring tools.
• Understand Geometric tolerances.
• Follow instructions accurately.
