    Our Performance Apparel client is seeking a Senior Marketing Director who will be responsible for the management and positioning of a Men's and Women's Performance lifestyle brand.

    This person will play a key role in developing brand direction and growth strategy in addition to nurturing their loyal account following.

    This includes management of all above and below the line marketing and advertising efforts, PR, and digital and social media strategies.

    This position requires a candidate with strong interpersonal skills who can maintain effective and cooperative partnerships with wholesale accounts and strategic partners with an appreciation for what the Wholesale and Specialty channels have in the development of the business.

    The ideal candidate is a collaborative team player and quick to see the big picture and ensure consistency of message.

    The Marketing Director must have a strong sense of the athletic, performance, and athleisure lifestyle including the importance of fabric technologies and sustainability attributes, brand partnerships, and activations.

    You must be comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment where ideas are awarded for their ability to drive the brand forward, increase brand engagement, and ultimately meet the business goals.

    This Director level position operates on a hybrid schedule out of their New York City office. The salary range is $170,000 – 200,000 BOE.

    Responsibilities:
    Provide directions for ecommerce, both owned and wholesale, to ensure the brand message and product presentation are being appropriately executed in the digital space
    Manage the development and oversee the execution of a strategic, multi-prong marketing plan to support company-wide initiatives and objectives
    Oversee all marketing projects and activities to ensure they stay on track and on budget
    Dynamically drive creative thinking to define and execute branded communications
    Serve as a partner to merchandising using an understanding of customer behavior and trends to help inform product and marketing strategies
    Manage internal and external teams responsible for implementation of the marketing strategy and vision
    Conduct regular meetings with company leadership to report status on all marketing-related activities and how they perform in relation to overall company goals
    Create and maintain the company's marketing budget, allocating resources to each project and department as appropriate
    Demonstrate comfort-level reviewing and making recommendations regarding optimization of ROAS / ROI, CAC, Conversion, and other revenue driving / acquisition KPIs
    Work with external agency on Social Media cadence and messaging
    Drive success across the organization with an ability to accept autonomy with the appropriate level of support and a willingness to give credit where credit is due

    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree
    Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Google Ad Manager, Google Analytics, Shopify, and Facebook Ad Manager
    Experience reviewing and making recommendations regarding optimization of ROAS / ROI, CAC, Conversion, and other revenue driving / acquisition KPIs
    8+ years of experience in Marketing / Performance, with a proven track record of growing awareness, consideration, and sales
    Strong written and communication skills
    Strategic thinker who can drive creative problem solving
    Ability to approach the job with a "whatever it takes" attitude to get the job accomplished – no job is too small
    Strong quantitative ability to understand and interpret data
    Open-minded, with an ability to work across and up and down the company
    Entrepreneurial attitude
    Experience working with an external partner as the point of contact and direction for growth
