Job DescriptionStarting Salary: 22.05/hr. ($45,864.00/yr.)Starting salary is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.Job Responsibilities:
CJAB Grant Specialist focuses on identifying potential grant sources and writing proposals to secure grant funding for CJAB initiatives The CJAB Grant Specialist also reports on grants and funded projects to state, federal, and other funding agencies ensuring that all reporting and compliance requirements are met.
Minimum Education, Experience and Training Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a Behavioral/Social Services, Criminal Justice, Public Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master's degree in in a Behavioral/Social Services, Criminal Justice, Public Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
Specific education and training in research and outcomes measurement is preferred. Four (4) years of experience in grant writing, grant program development, grant administration, or contract compliance.Other combinations of training and/or experience which can be demonstrated to result in possession of the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to perform the duties of this position will also be considered.
Preferred work experience in a behavioral/social science, government administration, or criminal justice setting with experience in service development and program planning.
Two to four years of experience in management and direction of program staff and/or consultants, or any combination equivalent of education and/or training.
Must pass a criminal background check. A valid driver's license is also required.#J-18808-Ljbffr
