Special Education Instructional Health Assistant - Shepherdsville, United States - Bullitt County Schools
Description
This position is for school year.Responsible for assisting teachers and schools with providing assistance in classroom instruction, student behavioral support, and providing for the health care needs of students during the school day in accordance with state laws and district regulations.
Candidate will need to be able to attend training for the position. Candidate must meet all qualifications necessary to be hired for the position as instructional assistant.

-Willingness to support PBIS expectations.
This position is for 6.5 hours per day and 170 student instructional days, 4 paid holidays, 7 planning days and 2 extended days for a total of 183 days per year. (Contracted days will be adjusted depending upon start date.)
New employees to the district may bring in up to 10 years of comparable, full-time, verified experience. (NOTE: It will be the responsibility of the applicant hired to submit the BCPS verification of experience form to their prior employer to complete and return to HR.)
This position is considered a ten month employee on the pay schedule. 4 paychecks will be paid at the end of June.
Formula to calculate salary
hours per day x hourly rate = daily rate
daily rate x contracted days = salary
salary / # of pays left = gross biweekly pay
