Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Engineering or Environmental Science from an accredited university
7+ years or more of Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) and site investigation experience
Experience with Georgia Environmental Protection Division Land Protection Branch
Experience with underground storage tank projects
Strong technical writing skills
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Preferred:
Ideal candidate will possess a Georgia Professional Geologist license, with additional accreditation in South Carolina and Texas being highly desirable.
7+ years of Geology, Hydrogeology, Engineering or related environmental experience
Direct experience with hydrogeological investigations, monitoring/sampling all media, regulatory compliance, and waste management
Existing client base of industrial, financial institutions, developers, and attorneys
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficient with Microsoft Office
Practical ability to analyze field and technical data, perform research, demonstrate technical knowledge, and solve problems
Job Description:
AKT Peerless is seeking a dynamic individual to contribute to the delivery of comprehensive environmental assessment and remediation services. In this role, you will collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team, operating within a hybrid framework.
Expectations Include:
Conducting Phase I ESAs to ASTM or higher standards
Conducting Phase II ESAs
Managing/overseeing hydrogeological investigations
Interpretation of analytical data using spreadsheets and databases
Understanding due diligence
Demonstrating full knowledge of each project's status and goals
Performing tasks across multiple disciplines to bring about successful project completion
Providing quality environmental services
Managing and responding to client's expectations and project objectives
