- Plays crucial role supporting overall nursing leadership team by overseeing implementation evidence-based nursing practices ensuring quality patient care delivery fostering culture continuous improvement within nursing department Collaborate with nursing staff interdisciplinary teams administration develop maintain policies procedures standards aligning regulatory requirements best practices healthcare Through leadership guidance contribute to enhancement of patient outcomes staff development and organizational excellence in healthcare delivery FT The Assistant Director AD of Nursing for Cardiac Care Thoracic and Dialysis provides operational regulatory and clinical leadership across a complex multi-unit service line This role partners closely with the Director of Nursing and fellow Assistant Directors to ensure high-quality safe and compliant patient care across inpatient and procedural environments The AD plays a critical leadership role in emergency preparedness response coordination recovery efforts while fostering collaborative communicative accountable culture Provide direct leadership oversight assigned units within service lines Lead emergency preparedness planning response coordination recovery efforts ensuring readiness system resilience Support operational management including staffing workflow optimization quality improvement initiatives safety efforts Master s degree required Minimum years experience preferably cardiac thoracic critical dialysis settings Experience both environments
