    The Azure AI Customer Experience Engineering team within the AI platform product organization works on the Azure AI growth strategy, engages the largest customers and partners in the world to co-innovate, incubate, and improve our core AI platform from scenarios utilizing Azure platform Services, and develop new scenarios and product categories.

    We do so by building and infusing AI technologies in real world solutions and extending the signals from real world patterns to build robust, scalable AI platform services and products.


    We are looking for a Product Manager to join our group and help us lead the next generation of Azure AI Service solutions.

    As a Product Manager, you will focus on developing the most comprehensive library of technical assets and resources to enable field teams to accelerate their sales and deployment efforts to increase Azure AI/Azure OpenAI service adoption.

    You will be well versed across the Azure AI portfolio and be proactive in keeping up with competitive technologies to provide field teams the most up-to-date tools and resources and help them accelerate their opportunities.

    Responsibilities


    Review product roadmap and partner with product team stakeholders to create technical content and assets in general around new AzureAI/Azure Open AI (AOAI) capabilities, composite scenario materials and top "hunting" use cases.

    Partner with product teams and customer experience teams to create and maintain technical demo library showcasing AzureAI/AOAI top capabilities.
    Monitor and provide compete views and in-depth analysis from Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services, Anthropic, open source etc. across AI and Generative AI platforms, models and capabilities.
    Develop and maintain full compete bill of materials (platform level, model level, scenario level)
    Plan and deliver field technical readiness focused on compete including trainings for sales and partner teams.

    Leverage deep compete insights to provide feedback to product teams on product gaps and opportunities to augment or extend our existing AI portfolio.

    Qualifications


    Required Qualifications:
    Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
    OR equivalent experience.

    Other Requirements

    Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.

    These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

    Microsoft Cloud Background Check:
    This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

    Preferred Qualifications


    A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent alternative education, skills, and/or practical IT work experience.

    4+ years of proven track record as a Technical Program Manager, Customer Success Specialist or Solution Architect working with customers and partners, with deep focus on AI strategy and GTM.

    Technical writing and technical communications skills.
    An understanding of the Azure AI portfolio and experience with competitive AI platforms and tools.

    Customer focus and a commitment to delivering quality products that create customer value and delightful experiences through deeper understanding of customer needs.

    Attention to detail, planning, organization, and project management skills.
    Communication skills with a broad range of audiences and ability to influence without authority.
    Problem solving and conflict-resolution skills across a set of technical, product, and business challenges.

    Product Management IC- The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,300 - $182,600 per year.

    There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $120,900 - $198,600 per year.
