    Security Clearance:
    IBR is a federal contractor. Applicants must be able to meet the requirements to obtain a Secret security clearance.

    Key Skills:
    Software development experience using Java, JavaScript, React, jQuery
    Experience with other software technologies such as Web Services (SOAP/REST), JSON, XML, AJAX, and/or Python a plus
    Experience in CI/CD environment (ie. Docker, Jenkins, Ansible, Kubernetes) and scripting languages (Python, Bash, Powershell, Perl)
    AWS and/or Salesforce experience a plus
    CompTIA Security+ certification is a plus

    Overview


    Do you want to help IBR build a portfolio of next-generation data collection systems? As a Software Engineer at IBR, you will support the Agile based engineering of a robust, secure, and scalable enterprise web portal solution supporting over 5M users hosted in AWS.

    This position will work closely with IT teams to design, code, test and implement application features and capabilities for an enterprise web portal using modern front end and back end methodologies hosted in AWS and leveraging Identity as a Service capabilities

    Responsibilities
    Software development with Java, JavaScript, and various scripting languages
    Design data models and web APIs and creation of software tasks from system requirements
    Perform requirements analysis, design, development, unit, and integration testing of software, troubleshooting and debugging of the system
    Immediate responsibilities will include enhancing and maintaining the existing system as well as design, development, and documentation of new features
    Usage of Atlassian Tools for day to day tasks within the Scrum process
    Implement web services, data persistence access features and external interfaces
    Partner closely with front-end and database engineers to ensure features are developed holistically
    Follow Agile software development methodology and team architecture standards.

    Qualifications
    Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering related field
    4+ years development experience
    Experience in Java Spring Framework (Boot, Batch, Data, Security)

    Desired technology experience includes:
    Java, Spring, REST, SOAP, JavaScript, JQuery, React/Angular JSON, XML and/or Apache Tomcat
    Experience with developing user interfaces using SCSS, HTML, JavaScript (jQuery, React)
    Experience with design, development, enhancement, troubleshooting and debugging of web applications
    Experience with relational database concepts (ie. ERDs) and SQL a bonus
    Experience developing and integrating complex software systems through the full SDLC
    Experience with Agile Scrum
    Experience in CI/CD environment (ie. Docker, Jenkins, Ansible, Kubernetes) and scripting languages (Python, Bash, Powershell, Perl)
    Experience with other software technologies such as Nexus, Git, Gradle, Groovy, Gogo, IntelliJ IDEA, or Fortify not required but nice to have
    Experience with Salesforce development a plus but not required

    Physical Demands

    Position consists of sitting for long periods of time, bending, stooping, crouching, and lifting up to 20 pounds. Frequently uses hands/fingers for manipulation of keyboard and mouse.

    Work Environment

    Work is performed primarily indoors at a well-lit office environment. The environment is normally air conditioned, but conditions may change dependent upon circumstances. Work may need to be performed in a fast-paced environment requiring quick thinking and rapid judgements. Employee will be exposed to a wide variety of clients in differing functions, personalities, and abilities.
