    Overview

Founded in 1993, DivcoWest is a multi-disciplinary real estate investment firm headquartered in San Francisco, with offices in Los Angeles, Menlo Park, Boston, Washington DC, Austin, and New York City. Known for our long-standing relationships and track record of success in innovation markets, DivcoWest combines entrepreneurial spirit with an institutional approach.

The Capital Strategies & Formation team supports both DivcoWest and LoanCore Capital. Founded in 2008, LoanCore is an experienced commercial real estate lender and investor with a credit-focused asset management platform. Together, the two make DivCore, an innovative real estate equity and debt investment firm focused on delivering attractive returns for its partners.

    Summary

The Capital Strategies & Formation ("CSF") team at DivCore is responsible for all institutional fundraising activity, management of existing institutional partnerships, and development of new strategic capital initiatives across the DivCore platform. The team works closely with senior leadership, the Investment team, and Portfolio Management to support fundraising across the firm, including through programmatic separate accounts, co-investments, and deal-specific capital solutions for a global institutional investor base.

This role requires 5 days in office at our San Francisco, CA location. Certain days will require travel to the Menlo Park office.

DivCore is seeking to hire a highly motivated individual who works well in a team-oriented environment and has demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors.

    Responsibilities

The Analyst, Capital Strategies & Formation ("CSF") is a San Francisco–based execution role focused on supporting DivCore's institutional fundraising efforts through detailed presentation creation, rigorous data management, precise meeting execution, and proactive coordination. The role is designed to enable senior team members to operate efficiently by owning core analytical, presentation, operational, and investor-support workstreams across multiple initiatives. High performers in this role are given increasing responsibility and exposure as they demonstrate strong judgment, execution, and reliability.

The Analyst works closely with the Director of Project Management and CSF Associate to support investor presentations, commitment due diligence, investor communications, reporting, and fundraising logistics across DivcoWest and LoanCore strategies. This is a fast-paced role that requires strong attention to detail, comfort managing multiple deadlines, and a collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset.

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Update and refine PowerPoint presentation materials for quarterly updates, coordinating with internal teams to ensure information is accurate, complete, and current.
    • Create ad hoc presentations to support bespoke meetings with existing and prospective investors.
    • Prepare agendas, investor bios, prior interaction summaries, and meeting briefs for investor calls, onsite visits, and roadshows.
    • Support post-meeting follow-up tracking, ensuring action items and next steps are clearly documented and notes are saved in the CRM system
    • Prepare data tables, charts, and supporting materials for pitchbooks, investor updates, and fundraising materials.
    • Ensure all investor-facing materials are finalized and delivered to senior team members at least one business day prior to meetings.

    Execution, Coordination & Process Management

    • Support the Director of Project Management in maintaining fundraising timelines, execution trackers, and internal dashboards.
    • Effectively prioritize multiple concurrent workstreams and deadlines, communicating proactively to ensure timely and high-quality execution.
    • Uphold strict confidentiality, professionalism, and attention to detail across all investor and firm-related communications.

    Data Integrity & Systems Ownership

    • Own the day-to-day accuracy of CRM systems (Salesforce, Juniper, others), including investor contacts, meeting logs, pipeline stages, and follow-up actions.
    • Maintain clean and current investor coverage records; proactively flag gaps, stale accounts, or data inconsistencies to the Director of Project Management.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for resolving investor access issues and troubleshooting within Juniper Square.
    • Support data room organization, document uploads, and ongoing maintenance to ensure materials are easily accessible and up to date.

    Market & Industry Monitoring

    • Prepare and distribute a bi-weekly industry and market update for senior executives, including relevant news on investors, peers, and capital markets trends.

    Qualifications

    • Undergraduate degree with a demonstrated record of strong academic achievement.
    • 2–3 years of relevant professional experience in investor relations, investment banking, private placements, consulting, or a related field with an understanding of commercial real estate preferred
    • Strong PowerPoint and Excel technical skills with a high attention to detail. Willingness to leverage AI to improve efficiencies, subject to DivCore's approved systems.
    • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with a proven ability to execute accurately and efficiently in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.
    • High degree of ownership and initiative, with the ability to work independently, prioritize competing demands, and adapt quickly to new challenges.
    • Solutions-oriented mindset with strong critical thinking skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
    • Familiarity with private equity and real estate investment concepts is preferred but not required.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
