    Position Description

    Looking for a skilled SOLO Class B CDL Truck Driver to join our team at Ryder in Mountville, PA.



    Job Title: SOLO Class B CDL Truck Driver
    Company: Ryder

    What We Offer:
    • Weekly pay of $1100 or more
    • Solo Miles Pay: $0.506 per Mile
    • Solo Stops Pay: $15.89 per Stop
    • NYC Premium Pay: $75.00 per day for NYC routes
    • Safety Bonus: $300 paid four times a year
    • Sign-On Bonus: $1000 at 30 days and $1000 at 90 days
    • Monday - Friday schedule with start time between 12:00 AM - 4:00 AM
    • Local Home Daily routes to NJ, DE, PA, MD, VA, and NYC
    • Tractor Type: 26' Straight Truck with Lift Gate, Hand Truck, and Wheeled Carts
    • Touch - Ice Cream Freight
    • Trucks are 36 months or newer with 24/7 Roadside Maintenance
    • Uniforms and Boot Allowance Provided
    • Paid Personal Time Off from Day One

    Requirements:
    • Minimum 21 years of age
    • Pass a Ryder Drug Test and Background Check
    • Valid CDL with endorsements
    • Class A or Class B experience within the specified timeframe
    • Ability to follow instructions and comply with regulations

    Responsibilities:
    • Compliance with laws and regulations
    • Safety hazard detection and elimination
    • Accurate record-keeping
    • Assistance in loading/unloading freight if required
    • Other assigned duties
