    • Mission Support Job Description The Building People, LLC, has a position open for a full-time Financial and Project Management Consultant with an active Top Secret Clearance
    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Provide project management support, to include communications, project planning and tracking from project inception through implementation
    • Ability to analyze detailed finance and accounting processes to identify improvement opportunities and promote efficiency and compliance
    Ability to develop business process documentation and related guidance


    • Provide support to a dynamic client, supporting business process improvement to address government-wide or client-defined objectives
    • Facilitate process improvement efforts across a variety of financial management, operational, and system stakeholders
    • Evaluate and document existing processes

    Skills & Requirements Qualifications and Education Required:
    Minimum Years of Experience: 3

    Minimum Degree Required:
    B.S., Accounting

    Security Clearance:
    Active Top Secret

    Audit experience required The following skills/experience/qualifications are preferred for this role:


    • Has the ability to identify and address client needs: building solid relationships with clients; developing an awareness of Firm services; communicating with the client in an organized and knowledgeable manner; delivering clear requests for information; demonstrating flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks; and communicating potential risks to team leadership
    • Demonstrates proven knowledge and success in advising federal clients in improving financial management business processes
    Knowledge of the federal environment and common regulations and guidance.


    • Demonstrated capabilities performing business process reviews and re-engineering, documenting processes, and developing policy and procedure documentation.
    • Demonstrates the ability to understand client needs, participate within a dynamic team environment, and communicate throughout internal and external network in a manner that allows for successful execution of tasks.
    • Willingness to learn and participate in business development activities and internal firm objectives.
    • Experience with SharePoint and Power BI preferred
    • Audits and/or Internal control assessments
    • Momentum Experience Preferred Additional Requirements
    • The successful candidate must not be subject to employment restrictions from a former employer (such as a non-compete) that would prevent the candidate from performing the job responsibilities as described
