Overview
This position is accountable to perform all technical aspects of patient management, including simulation and treatment planning, treatment procedures, dosimetry, fabrication of treatment aids, and chart documentation processes, in accordance with the orders of the Radiation Oncologist.

Responsibilities
Performs simulation and radiation treatment planning processes and procedures adhering to institutional policies & procedures, governmental regulations, and professional standards.
Performs radiation treatment delivery adhering to institutional policies & procedures, governmental regulations, and professional standards.
Performs patient charting as it pertains to simulation, radiation treatment delivery and billing.
Provides patient education and assessment of patient needs during simulation and radiation treatment processes.
Coordinates patient schedules/transportation related to simulation and radiation treatment processes and procedures.
Qualifications
EDUCATION:Required - Graduation from an accredited Radiation Therapy Technology program required.
Preferred - Bachelor?s Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
EXPERIENCE:Preferred - 3 years? experience as a Registered Radiation Therapist.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:REQUIRED
Drivers License | Valid Drivers License
BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
Required - Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy (RT-T).
PREFERRED
Preferred - Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiologic Technology (RT-R). Additional certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in CT or MR, etc.
