    Description
    Cloud Security Architect Must currently hold and have the ability to maintain a DoD Secret security clearance
    Senior position within Oracle's Government Defense & Intelligence (GDI) organization
    Candidate should have a history of implementing large, secure application environments within the Department of Defense (DoD)
    Must understand enterprise architectures, security guidelines and standard methodologies for the Department of Defense
    Familiar with DoD security tools such as: ACAS, HBSS, Splunk, Centrify etc.
    Deep understanding of underlying software as code tools such as: Terraform
    Ansible
    Microservices
    Kubernetes
    GitLab etc.
    Keeps tabs on updates/changes to security posture within the DoD, such as Zero Trust and Micro-segmentation
    Understands Secure Cloud Computing Architecture (SCCA) at a deep level, in particular the Virtual Datacenter Security Stack (VDSS) and Virtual Datacenter Managed Services (VDMS) portions of SCCA
    Needs to be familiar with the Cloud Native Foundation (CNF) and common use tools.
    Solid understanding of the accreditation process within the Department of Defense
    Experience with one or more accreditations of environments/applications within the Department of Defense.
    Must have deep experience with at least one Commercial Cloud environment, preference to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
    Must have solid understanding of underlying Oracle stack components that will be used by customers in OCI, including:
    Oracle 11g, 12c, 18c, 19c RDBMS
    Oracle Labeling Technologies (Oracle Label Security, Database Vault)

    OBIEE
    WebLogic
    At least one of (eBusiness Suite, PeopleSoft or custom/third party ERP or similarly complex application)
    Prod/COOP failover and failback, including transition path to pilot light COOP Will work with both customers and internal personnel to help with initial cloud architectures for complex environments as well as make recommendations for improvement/enhancements for both the general cloud architecture and the security of the implementation
    The qualified candidate will be capable of working with customers to understand their current security posture and advise on Cloud Security standard processes
    This includes but is not limited to: Software Defined Infrastructure
    Cloud Security Policies/Guardrails
    DevSecOps and transition to Blue-Green deployments
    Communicate recommendations and transition paths to Cloud Native services as they become available for DoD customers.
    Communicate Oracle DoD Services roadmap and align customer migration/deployments to OCI services based on availability.
    Communicate migration strategies to DoD customer to OCI.
    Position is largely remote, however, periodic travel to meet with Mission Partners is expected.
    Must currently hold, and the ability to maintain a Secret Clearance.
