    The Resource Planning Coordinator is responsible for the work of daily schedule maintenance and starts management in the Geographic Planned Production system. The role supports the Resource Planning Manager in offering updates daily on schedule adherence and monitors potential constraints that could slow down the production schedule. This position also supports the Customer Care team through ticket management and Trade Partner communication. Thorough and detailed communication is necessary with the construction team to ensure industry-leading cycle time performance.

    Responsibilities:

    • Compile documentation needed for permit package compilation and submissions.
    • Request permit checks and obtain permits per the schedule.
    • Attend the slotting meeting and ensure critical dates are communicated to all departments.
    • Run lot release in JD Edwards.
    • Support weekly starts, starts stacking, and GPP program.
    • Support trade communications via centralized scheduling.
    • Upload all land, purchasing, and construction documents to BuildPro and SupplyPro.
    • Set up all construction scheduled in BuildPro.
    • Support the construction team in the field by disseminating information.
    • Research trade invoice inquiries and payment issues.
    • Ensure all change orders and field EPOs are communicated with supporting documentation.

    Qualifications/Experience:

    • Background or field of study in construction or a related industry preferred.
    • 1 to 2 years of experience managing schedules.
    • Demonstrated understanding of residential construction techniques and scheduling.
    • Proven ability to meet deadlines without compromising quality or productivity.
    • Familiarity with software scheduling tools (i.e., Hyphen, Constellation, Microsoft, etc.)
    • Ability to self-manage and work independently.
    • Functional building knowledge for residential construction.
    • Ability to apply scheduling processes.
    • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
    • Functional knowledge of Lean Principles, Theory of Constraints, and Critical Chain Theory.
    • Ability to use software scheduling tools.
    • Ability to balance multiple tasks.
    • Maintains a focus on the quality of decisions while considering deadlines.
    • Communicates risks early to support deliverables.
    • Collaborates with internal and external customers to ensure decisions accurately address issues.
    • Recognizes that individual decisions can have long-term and interconnected impacts.
    • Establishes feedback loops to ensure the quality of decisions.
