- Set objectives and devise strategies for business and revenue enhancement.
- Explore, devise, and execute new target market strategies.
- Investigate potential contract opportunities within target markets.
- Collaborate with company technical program managers to create compelling proposals for selected opportunities.
- Coordinate with company's Contracts, Finance, and Quality Assurance managers to ensure proposal adherence to solicitation stipulations.
- Participate in business development client meetings, conferences, and industry gatherings.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Government/Military shipboard Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical (HM&E) repair, modernization, and/or operation practices.
- Attentive to details, well-organized, and self-driven.
- Capable of delivering persuasive and articulate verbal and written communication.
- Adept at simplifying technical information for easy comprehension.
- Keen on personal growth and learning within a dynamic environment where your perspectives are crucial to the company's achievements.
- Skilled in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and Microsoft SharePoint.
- Prior experience in providing writing support for government proposals is advantageous.
- Former Officer or Senior Enlisted personnel in the U.S. Navy or U.S. Coast Guard is a bonus.
- A Bachelor's degree is desirable.
- Familiarity with the Federal Acquisition and Procurement Process is beneficial.
