    JOB SUMMARY

    Senior Business Analyst - Finance will perform analysis, provide design, perform testing and debug on issues reported in Oracle Fixed Assets, Accounts Receivable, and overall Order to Cash business process area. This position will involve in requirements gathering, performing Fit-Gap analysis, and configuring Oracle modules to work based on requirements. Additionally, this position will be required to oversee a highly customized set of modules and must be willing and able to gain an understanding of non-standard functionalities as well as bring a strong understanding of the fundamentals to guide the process and module to maturity. In addition to being expected to configure certain elements of the system to meet the business need and requirement, the candidate should be comfortable writing custom development requirements, thoroughly defining test cases, and executing test cases with precision to ensure quality product delivery. This position will be responsible for completing the assigned tasks and be a team player working in close coordination with the manager and other technical/functional team members.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Partner closely with business stakeholders to gain a detailed understanding of the business process and daily challenges
    • Analyze current business processes and assist users in making best use of systems
    • Provide solutions to problems prioritizing standard functionalities and features while also considering alternatives achieved via custom solutions and extensions
    • Assess the cost/benefit of recommended process changes
    • Create Functional requirement documents, work independently to get the design signoff from business and work closely with the technical team in helping develop reports, screen changes and extensions
    • Prepare detailed and complete test cases for all projects, large and small
    • Execute test cases with precision to ensure quality solutions and products are released to the business thus minimizing business testing effort and IT development/configuration re-work
    • Facilitate UAT and provide timely and knowledgeable support to ensure smooth delivery to production
    • Execute complex projects spanning multiple months while being the primary functional SME from the IT department
    • Partner closely with internal technical resources to delivery projects timely while also maintaining the ability to set realistic timelines
    • Set and meet timelines on ongoing support items as well as large projects
    • Work with other members of the Business Systems team to help evaluate data and processes, trouble-shooting systems and incorporating solutions as required
    • Follow up with managers and users to ensure compliance with new procedures and effectiveness of new systems
    • Accountable for quality, completeness, and on-time delivery of an assigned project
    • Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle SDLC
    • Work with Oracle support for issues corresponding to the Service Requests on Oracle system
    • Create training materials and provide training to users on Oracle functionalities
    • Understand the various integrations and support Oracle Supply chain application which integrates with Custom .NET applications and other Cloud applications
    • Work effectively with Vendors and third party contractors in delivering the requirements
    Qualifications

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
    • State the minimum qualifications required to successfully perform the job, including type and minimum years of experience and education, specialized knowledge and skills required
    • Expertise in Oracle EBS (Fusion Cloud a bonus) including AR, FA, and Projects modules
    • Post-secondary education with a Computer Sciences or Business Degree
    • Minimum 5 years of experience work experience as an Oracle functional business analyst, consultant, or lead ERP analyst
    • Functional knowledge on Oracle Financial modules like General Ledger, SLA, Assets is needed
    • Able to understand the user requirements and be able to configure the system independently for various system options across the above-listed modules to achieve the desired results
    • Provide Design, Test, Support, and Training as required during the course of the projects
    • Ability to manage projects and ongoing support activities simultaneously
    • Knowledge on the interfaces on Oracle EBS with other applications if any
    • Excellent analytical skills
    • Good written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong business understanding in the area of specialization
    • Ability to analyze troubleshoot problems and recommend solutions
    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    Knowledge in Technical aspects including reports, workflows would be an added advantage
