Job Description:

As a Residential Habilitation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of our residents

Your responsibilities will include:

Providing personalized support and assistance with daily living activities such as budgeting, meal prep, cleaning, etc.
Implementing individualized habilitation plans to promote skill development and independence.
Fostering a safe and inclusive living environment that promotes dignity and respect.
Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the wellbeing of each resident.
Documenting progress and communicating effectively with team members
Assisting with medications

Qualifications:

Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to support individuals with disabilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt to the unique needs and preferences of each resident.
Experience working in a residential or communitybased setting is preferred but not required.
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certifications in disability support services are a plus.
Ability to Submit and Clear a Health and Welfare Criminal Background Check
Good driving record. This position requires proof of a current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and vehicle registration. Transportation is a requirement of this job, mileage is reimbursed.
First aid and CPR certification is required for the duration of employment.
Medication Certification is required, upon hire we can assist with certification.
