As our Insurance Specialist, you'll manage the daily billing functions that keep the practice running smoothly and ensure claims are processed correctly and on time.
RESPONSIBILITIES
What you'll do
- Submit and manage medical claims
- Coordinate with our insurance billing service to verify eligibility and communicate benefits to front desk staff
- Review and resolve claim denials
- Support front desk operations, assist with scheduling, and manage patient flow, as needed
- Track business performance and assist with basic reporting
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
What we're looking for
Must-have skills:
- Experience in medical coding, billing, and collections
- Experience with electronic medical record systems
- Experience in a medical office (eye care preferred)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Nice-to-have skills:
- Ability to support a team-focused environment
- Familiarity with vision insurance plans
Type: Part Time (Hourly)
