Job DescriptionIdeal Production Manager will oversee manufacturing processes and ensure production meets quality and efficiency standards.

RequirementsPlan and organize production schedulesOversee production processes and manage production personnelEnsure products are manufactured on time and within quality standardsMonitor production costs and implement cost-saving measuresCollaborate with other departments to improve production processesMaintain a safe working environment for all employeesMechanical knowledgeProficiency with hand tools and power toolsExperience in a warehouse settingAbility to assemble and fabricate productsFamiliarity with forklift operationContinuously monitor, promote, and improve food safety and product quality on shiftOversee the adherence to and improvement of PGPI GMP's standards and best practiceLead the production team to complete the weekly schedule adhering to the standardManage personnel, raw material and packagingPrepare reportsMonitor personnel schedules, metrics per shiftsMaintain constant communication with other departments such as EHS, QualityAssurance, Maintenance, Logistics, Senior Management, Customer Service, Finance, Planning, and EngineeringPrior experience with Food Safety, Organic, Non-GMO, Gluten-Free, Kosher, Halal and various contractors preferredBachelor's degree in Engineering, Science(s), Operations or any technical training or equivalent working experiencePrior Food manufacturing experiencePrior management or leadership experienceExtrusion or Bakery Manufacturing experienceExcellent Problem-Solving skills and Continuous ImprovementMicrosoft Office Software (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.

Extrusion, milling and/or food processing-related technical skillsHACCP, PCQI, Allergen management, Sanitation, EnvironmentalForklift license desirable
