    RN - House Supervisor

    Full Time - Days and Evenings

    **Pay Rate up to $40/hour; based on licensure and experience**

    Responsibilities of a RN - House Supervisor:
    • Engages and participates in various multidisciplinary meetings.
    • Participates in the orientation process of professional nurses.
    • Helps create and promote policies and procedures.
    • Functions as a charge nurse when staffing is challenged.
    • Makes frequent rounds on unit providing direct supervision of unit staff by "management by walking rounds".
    • Helps provide surveillance on their unit to ensure safety is top priority.
    • Ensures their units are clean and organized.
    • Completes audits as assigned by DON/ADON.
    • Assists charge nurses by providing clinical support i.e. admissions, treatments, receiving and transcribing orders.
    • Engages in and helps manage monthly nurses meetings.
    • Provides hands on help/on the spot training and in services to nursing staff on the unit when needed.
    • Participates in staff development and disciplinary action as needed.
    • Participates in creating/updating and ensuring resident care plans are accurate and followed.
    • Completes follow ups as needed on their unit.
    • Addresses clinical concerns with staff, families, and doctors.
    Requirements of a RN - House Supervisor:
    • Maryland RN License.
