    AHC–American Health Communities comprises a network of 29 skilled nursing and rehab centers. We cater to patients recovering from various conditions and provide daily care for long-term residents. Our parent organization, American Health Partners, situated in Tennessee, is a diverse company operating in seven states.

    Responsibilities of a Licensed Practical Nurse:

    As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you'll offer personalized healthcare to residents and oversee other caregivers to ensure their comfort and safety. Daily tasks may include:

    • Providing nursing care, such as administering treatments, handling procedures, and conducting lab work
    • Supervising nursing aides and support staff
    • Handling administrative tasks like documentation and inventory management
    • Managing resident admissions, transfers, and discharges
    • Performing emergency procedures like CPR when needed

    Qualifications for a Licensed Practical Nurse:

    • Valid LPN license in Tennessee
    • Current CPR certification
    • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime
    • Capable of lifting objects up to 50 pounds
    • Experience in supervising support staff and addressing performance issues
