WHO YOU NEED TO BE
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in an insurance agency environment preferred.
Experience using Applied Epic for insurance premium accounting preferred.2+ years of experience within an Accounting environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills/team player who contributes to a positive work environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good planning, organizational and prioritization skills.
Ability to work independently and efficiently.
Demonstrates solid customer service focus.
THE JOB
An Accounting Analyst contributes to C3's success by performing the following tasks:Researches, transacts, and reconciles items for Accounts Receivable, insurance Premium Payables, vendor Accounts Payable, cash receipts, disbursements, journal entries and other accounting transactions using Applied Epic and other various systems and resources.
Reconciles and compiles monthly Producer/Broker commissions.
Performs and records deposits to the Trust and Operating bank accounts.
Perform monthly & quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting.
Prepares analysis and reviews accounts receivable and insurance payable reports for reconciliation.
Evaluates supporting documents for accuracy and compliance within corporate Accounting standards and/or audit guidelines;Provides timely discrepancy resolutions with an emphasis on client service.
Identifies and offers solutions to problems/issues related to Accounting functions.Compiles internal statistical and historical data for various reporting requirements.
Participates in and supports related and cross-functional initiatives.
General financial reporting and analysis as assigned.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

The applicable base pay range for this role is $27.00 to $31.25 per hour. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
