    NP or PA Inpatient Anesthesiology

    The University of Kentucky Critical Care Advanced Practice Provider functions within the adult ICU areas and is an integral member of a multidisciplinary health care team.

    • Manages critically ill adults
    • Provides intensive care interventions throughout UKHC

    Responsibilities include:

    • Care for patients returning for follow up in the outpatient setting

    pWe are part of a 569-bed acute care hospital, providing Level I trauma center services and housing the only Level 4 neonatal intensive care unit in the area.
    Highlights Include: ):br/Divisions provide primary consultative critical care in both cardiovascular and neurosciences ICUs at UK HealthCare.pIn CVICU, our team works closely with surgeons to manage critically ill patients after complex cardiac surgeries. We also support patients requiring mechanical heart devices or ECMO.

    In NSICU, we collaborate with stroke neurologists and neurosurgeons on various intracranial pathologies including ischemic stroke subarachnoid hemorrhage traumatic brain injury spinal cord injury tumors status epilepticus.
