We are Dover Precision Components, #LifeAtDPCResponsibilities:
Utilizes excellent coding skills in ANSI C/C++ to develop reliable, efficient software. Practices good software techniques and is comfortable using git to branch/merge/etc. with other contributors. Hands-on oriented and able to design/troubleshoot ARM processor-based hardware. Operates at a high level of productivity and writes clean, well-documented software. Takes product requirements and delivers software that meets those requirements in a short period of time.

Participates in daily Scrum and associated weekly meetings and works in an agile fashion to get customer feedback on new designs frequently.

Effectively estimates time required to implement new features and stays on schedule. Generates fresh ideas and design concepts based on new technologies and industry trends.

Minimum required qualifications: 12+ years of relevant experience of progressive with relevant experience Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or another field relevant related engineering discipline.

Proven experience with electronics & circuit board design and development. Ability to evaluate alternative circuit components (i.e. obsolescence management) Demonstrated ability of identification and mitigation of electrical design risks. Demonstrated knowledge, education, experience and/or training necessary to develop software/firmware in C/C++ in a multithreaded RTOS.

The ideal candidate possesses the following experience, skills, and abilities:
Experience in microprocessor and peripheral circuit board design and low-level driver development to bring up ARM processor-based platforms.

Decisive, yet flexible and adaptive, with skill in identifying problems and opportunities, using creativity to map and bring about innovative solutions.

Perform with excellence under demanding circumstances. Collaborative working with cross-functional team members to achieve goals and produce superior, exciting products.
