- Maintain a tax calendar of required domestic and international compliance for all direct and indirect taxes (including VAT, Sales & Use and property taxes).
- Solely responsible for VAT filings in Ireland, France, and other countries as needed (bi-monthly).
- Preparation of Sales & Use Tax returns (quarterly).
- Request and analyze flight logs from airlines (quarterly).
- Reconcile tax basis fixed assets and depreciation (quarterly).
- Preparation of annual Personal Property tax returns (annual).
- Preparation of Report of Foreign Bank accounts (annual)
- Assist Accounts Payable with 1099-MISC filings (annual).
- Respond to management requests for net tax values of aircraft.
- Preparation of W-8Ben requests from Treasury.
- Completion of registration forms for newly established entities, (US and International).
- Manage, monitor and maintain log of notices from and responses to taxing authorities.
- Assist with federal, state, local and foreign tax audits.
- Assist other members of Tax team with issues which arise in the day-to-day operations.
- Bachelor's degree in related degree
- 4-6 years' relevant work experience
- Combination of public accounting and strong industry tax experience
- Federal, foreign, and state & local tax knowledge
- High level mastery of Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize work efficiently with high degree of energy and productivity
- Responsive to both internal and external parties and communicate clearly
- Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines

CFS is partnering with a local Financial Services organization specialized in Aircraft leasing and sales. They are seeking a Tax Accountant; they will serve as a core member of the Company's Tax department.
