Description

Job Summary:

Kaiser Permanente (KP) values the contribution of nurses in enhancing healthcare through clinical expertise and leadership. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in this role, you will play a key part in ensuring smooth patient experiences, managing patient flow, providing follow-up care, and assisting with patient education.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare patients for examinations by reviewing their history and collecting vital signs.
Address care gaps and schedule necessary appointments.
Verify medications and coordinate refills as required.
Review and update patient information such as allergies and medical history.
Administer treatments as directed by practitioners and record patient responses.
Assist physicians during procedures and prepare examination rooms.
Provide patient education and materials for diagnostic procedures.
Schedule appointments for patients for various healthcare services.
Deliver health education to patients and their families.
Handle patient concerns efficiently and participate in emergency care when needed.
Maintain quality standards in the department.

Basic Requirements:

No specific experience required.

Education

Graduation from an accredited nursing (LPN/LVN) program.

License, Certification, Registration

Active Practical Nurse License in Georgia.
Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.

Additional Expectations:

Successful completion of a Customer Service Assessment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in healthcare is a plus.
Strong customer service skills demonstrated through Customer Service Assessment.

Workdays: Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri
