King & Sykes is a values driven staffing firm founded to partner with investment banks, private equity & alternative asset investors who are at the forefront of sustainable investing, and their portfolio of companies.
We are currently hiring for a Director-level professional to lead the development of ~3000MW of solar and battery storage projects for a private equity backed asset management platform.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the project development team and execution resource planning, execution plans, schedules, budgets, studies, value planning and presentations that provide a clear understanding regarding renewable and BESS market conditions, project pursuit structuring and execution requirements for brownfield redevelopment sites.
The
Director, Project Development
will also develop the strategy for and lead commercial and contractual agreement negotiations associated with project development, e.g.
off-take/power sales; interconnection, transmission and wheeling; project commercial structuring and finance; government affairs and community relations; property leasing, acquisition and Right of Way (ROW); Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC); permitting.
Requirements:
At least 15 years' of success in the development of renewable energy and energy storage projects.
Strong financial, business and commercial acumen required.
The expected annual base salary range for this position is $250,000 to $300,000.
The compensation and benefits package includes variable compensation in the form of a year-end bonus (20%-30%) and participation in the firms equity programme.
