Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an ARRT-certified Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with at least 2 years of recent experience for a night shift travel contract.

Responsibilities

• Position is in an X-ray unit performing general radiologic procedures
• Night shifts scheduled as 3x12s from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM; scheduling may change during interview
• Requires work with a variety of adult patient populations
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• Floating may occur between like units and, rarely, campuses within 20 miles
• Assignment length is 13 weeks
• Candidates must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's) if assignment overlaps these dates
• Returning employees must have been separated for at least one year before being eligible to return as a traveler
• All requested time off must be submitted prior to offer; changes after offer may not be accommodated
• Assignment may require flexibility and teamwork with various hospital staff
• Vaccination status may be required

Requirements

• Current ARRT certification required
• At least 2 years of recent X-ray experience required for previous travelers, or 3 years if no travel experience
• Completion of at least one prior travel assignment required; no first-time travelers allowed
• Must live at least 100 miles from facility; local candidates not considered
• License required if applicable
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
