    Description
    Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned
    • Support information systems to assure smooth, professional and cost effective operation of all IT systems
    • Manage virtual environments and the servers and computers that are hosted
    • Design and develop active directory standards using security groups, organization units and other standard practices in order to keep active directory manageable
    • Maintain appropriate backup environment of not only software and data including on premise and cloud based backups.
    • Support the migration of domain controllers and file/print servers from old hardware to new hardware infrastructure including the appropriate security and permissions requirements.
    • Support and manage daily operational requirements to the virtual servers including patches and upgrades
    • Manage Active Directory (users, security groups, distributions groups, etc)
    • Maintain workstation and other computers handling day to day user support issues
    • Support setup tasks in ERP system users, maintaining connection to SQL
    • Generate and maintain effective documentation for processes and procedures to support IT functions
    • Follow discrete protocol involving confidential material, accessibility and/or related activities

    Education and/or Experience
    • Complete or working towards a four year Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field, or equivalent work experience to offset educational requirements
    • Five years of experience working on information systems process improvement, project management or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience
    • Ability manage and prioritize time effectively
    • Ability to problem solve IT and related systems
    • Ability to operate with high level of detail in performing duties and responsibilities
    Language Skills
    • Ability to write professionally for multiple outlets that conform to prescribed style and format
    • Ability to verbally communicate effectively
    • Ability to explain IT related topics in "layman's" terms to non technical team members
    Reasoning Ability
    • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
    • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
    Computer Skills
    • Proficient in VMWare ESXi virtual environments
    • Proficient in Microsoft networking and Active Directory management.
    • Proficient with MS Server 2012+, Windows 7/10 and handheld operating systems
    • Proficient with networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, GPO and other computing/networking environmental configurations)
    • Proficient in Network security standard fundamentals (Firewall security, AV/AS configurations, Password policy management and other security practices)
    • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook)
    • Adapt to System Specific network, virtual environment software managing applications
