Gannett Fleming is looking for a

Junior Transportation Engineer

in Bartow, FL.

This position will be a hybrid.

In this role you will have the opportunity to work with experienced project managers and engineers responsible for providing roadway design services for a wide variety of projects, including roadway and intersection reconstruction and rehabilitation, drainage and grading, safety and multimodal improvements.

Plans production for FDOT roadway and signing/pavement marking plans.
Temporary Traffic control design and plan development
Preparation of technical reports, including exceptions, variations, and design memos
ORD corridor and detail modeling experience
Quantity takeoff for EQ Report preparation
Auto turn analysis.
Field reviews and project coordination

:

Minimum Qualifications
Must be a recent graduate of a 4-year Civil Engineering degree program
EIT preferred
3 plus years experience in roadway or drainage design preferred
A good understanding of roadway and highway systems and plans production
Working experience with OpenRoads and AutoCAD
Experience with FDOT is preferred
Strong written and verbal communications skills required
Must be able to work in the office 4 days a week, and one remote
