**Job Title:** Locum Psychiatrist - Behavioral Medicine

We are seeking a skilled Locum Psychiatrist with expertise in Behavioral Medicine to provide inpatient psychiatric coverage at our facility. This opportunity will allow you to work closely with a team of dedicated professionals and contribute to the well-being of patients.

About the Role:

As a Locum Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychiatric care to adult patients, including those with anxiety disorders, affective disorders, and other mental health conditions. You will also need to manage patient demographics, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.

Responsibilities:

Provide inpatient psychiatric care to adult patients (18+ years) with various mental health conditions
Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
Manage patient demographics and maintain accurate records
Familiarity with Involuntary Commitments, Seclusion Therapy, Pharmacotherapy, and Restraint Application

Requirements:

Board Certified in Psychiatry
Active VA Medical License
100% Clean Background
Patient Load: 8 patients per day on weekdays; 16-20 patients per day on weekends

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 8 AM - 4 PM + weekend call
Weekend Call Requirements: Friday 4 PM - Monday 7:59 AM
