- Possession of a valid permanent Oklahoma license as a registered nurse as approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing and four years of professional nursing experience, two of which must have been in a supervisory capacity; or a bachelor's degree in nursing and three years of professional nursing experience, two years off which must have been in a supervisory capacity; or a master's degree and two years of professional nursing experience in a supervisory capacity.
- Upon a conditional offer of employment, Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services applicants must submit to a physical examination and shall meet the physical examination requirements of occasionally lifting/carrying 50 pounds and able to push and pull a maximum force of 25 pounds.

Here at the Oklahoma Forensic Center the Nursing department is hiring for Nurse Managers who would be assigned responsibilities involving the supervision and management of staff, program and units in an inpatient behavioral health facility.
This includes responsibility for broad management issues in planning, organizing and integrating various functions for which responsibility is assigned and directing assigned staff in meeting the goals and objectives of the program.
Applicants must be willing and able to fulfill any job-related travel normally associated with this position and as such have a valid driver's license.
The Oklahoma Forensic Center encompasses a 24 hour/365 day secure inpatient forensic facility, forensic step-down unit (TRC) and jail competency services for the State of Oklahoma.
