Principal Machine Learning Engineer (MLE), Ads Marketplace About the Team: The Ads Marketplace team at Cardlytics comprises a dynamic group of scientists and engineers dedicated to rethinking and redefining ad delivery and optimization at scale.
Our work directly impacts millions of customers daily, driving innovation and effectiveness in how advertising reaches its audience.About the Position:
As a Machine Learning Engineer in the Ads Marketplace team you will collaborate with data scientists to tackle complex machine learning problems in digital advertising.
You will focus on developing and deploying models that enhance ad targeting, optimize bid strategies, and improve overall campaign performance.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in machine learning techniques and a proven ability to apply these skills practically to solve real-world problems.
Responsibilities:
Partner with data scientists to design, build and deploy machine learning models that solve a diverse set of advertising challenges, such as predictive analytics for user behavior, ad ranking, and personalization.
Optimize data pipelines and machine learning workflows using tools like Apache Airflow and MLFlow.
Conduct A/B testing and other performance evaluations to ensure models are effective and efficient.
Provide technical leadership and insights to improve our algorithms and methodologies continually.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related technical field.3+ years of relevant experience as a Machine Learning Engineer, with specific experience in advertising technology.
Proficient in programming languages such as Python or Java and familiar with ML libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).Experience with large-scale data processing tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and data workflow management tools (e.g., Airflow).Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical ideas effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated expertise in predictive modeling techniques and their application to digital advertising problems.
Experience building Learning to Rank (LTR) models.
Experience with real-time systems and large-scale data processing technologies like Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka.

Individual compensation may be determined by relevant skills, experience, education, training, and other role-specific criteria. This salary range will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of the aforementioned factors.The base salary range provided below does not include bonuses and additional benefits.
The annual US base salary range for this role is:
