Utility Channel customers are described as, but not limited to gas and electric utilities (investor owned, co-ops and municipal), telecom and renewable energy, power generation and the specialty contractors that support this sector.
Job Description:
The Utility Sales Representative is responsible for serving and expanding business and relationships with established customers. Additionally, you will be tasked with expanding your channel within your region to acquire new accounts, sales, services and profit. The Utility Sales Representative will report to the Regional Sales Manager for Utilities.
Approximately half of your working hours will involve interacting with customers face-to-face, over the phone or virtually. This sales professional will conduct routine product presentations to customers, ranging from individual sessions, small groups, to participation in larger customer gatherings.
An ongoing enthusiasm to learn about new products and effectively present their value proposition is a vital aspect of this role. Our customers rely on us to possess a profound understanding of their environment and how we can facilitate their operations. These abilities can be acquired, and you will receive assistance from product specialists, marketing, and manufacturers representatives who are experts in their fields.
