We are looking for a Cash Posting Specialist responsible for ensuring that customer payments (regular, default, and bankruptcy) and payoffs are posted accurately and timely.

Your specific duties will include:

Processing standard mortgage loan paymentsProcessing mortgage payoffs per standard proceduresProcessing non-standard payments, such as bankruptcy payments, vendor payments (Mortgage Insurance, Homeowners Insurance, Taxing authorities, etc.) reversal sales, etc.

Researching exception items that do not reconcileProcessing reversal transactionsProcessing and monitoring the disbursement of suspense funds, ensuring funds are processed within servicing guidelines.

Specific qualifications for the position include :

High School Diploma or GED required, Associates preferred3-5 years of cash posting/handling experience is required in a mortgage or commercial bankMust have the ability to prioritize meeting deadlines and communicate effectivelyTen keys by touch are also requiredCompensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
