- Execute grinding operations on diverse materials, such as metals, alloys, and composites, to attain desired dimensions, tolerances, and surface finishes.
- Adjust machine settings as required to optimize production efficiency and uphold quality standards.
- Employ precision measuring instruments like micrometers, calipers, and gauges to scrutinize finished parts and ensure adherence to specifications.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues pertaining to machine performance, tooling, and workpiece quality, and implement corrective measures as necessary.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and procedures to foster a secure working environment for oneself and colleagues.
- Maintain meticulous records of production activities, encompassing machine settings, tooling changes, and inspection outcomes, in accordance with company policies and regulations.
- Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or training in machining or related fields is advantageous.
