    NoneType of Travel: None* * *CACI is seeking a Systems Engineer As a member of a small architecture and planning team you will work with the government customer transforming legacy applications into a cloud environment.

    You will work closely with customers to define requirements, implement business logic and refine applications. You will provide oversight and strategic direction in the system architecture practices, principles, documentation, and governance. You will provide system engineering support across the IT disciplines (i.e. Virtual & Physical Servers, Cloud technologies, Network, etc). You will provide technical expertise for the integration of IT requirements, design, and technology.

    You will assist with the capability development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system engineering integration and test plans.

    In this role you will:


    Effectively and professionally communicate with both technical and non-technical colleagues and customers at all levels of seniorityDefine, document, and plan development effortsProvide estimating for the level of effort required for implementation and testing of new installations, data sourcesAs directed, architect solutions for operating systems, applications, etc.

    You will plan, coordinate, and perform integration and troubleshooting of systems in both AWS and Azure environments.

    Document, install, test system patches and application updatesPerform integrations with network devices, such as VPN, firewall, routingEnhance data protection and complianceIdentify the root cause of service/application failuresProvide expertise in troubleshooting issues with CI systemsConduct project management of technical componentsWork independently or on very small teams to integrate systems and solutions, triage issues, and prioritize tasksContribue to other CI projects as neededRequired Qualifications:
    TS/SCI w/ Poly5+ years of experience with network and system administration2+ years of experience in the design, development and implementation of new software products or major enhancements to existing software in an agile environmentBS in one or more areas of Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer/Network Security or 4 years of equivalent experienceExperience in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex Insider Threat Network/System/Software information technology and database systemsSystem and data integration, transformation, monitoring, and systematic problem solvingDemonstrated experience with cloud-based technologies (e.g. AWS, Azure)

    Successful track record in providing technical leadership in delivering architecture, engineering, and operation services.
    Demonstrated experience with cloud migration solutions and hybrid cloud management solutions.
    Functional/technical implementation experience with product(s)Strong communication skills and an ability to engage with multiple technical and non-technical stakeholdersThese Qualifications would be nice to have:
