Previously, this position has supported one physician, Dr. Zhao in the Dublin clinic. We would like to share this 1.0 FTE between two neuroscience offices to support Dr. Zhao, Dr. Eibling and QSART testing in the Dublin clinic; Future needs for Dr. Berry and new neurologist in Dublin. Currently, our neurodiagnostic tech is a 0.2 FTE.
We are looking to replace with a 1.0 shared FTE; repurposing a 1.0 FTE RN position for this 1.0 FTE Tech position.
Under the guidance of the Neurodiagnostic II and the supervision of the Manager, the Neurodiagnostic Technician performs one or more of several Neurodiagnostic testsThese tests include:
EEG; Evoked Potentials; Sleep Studies; Intraoperative Monitoring; Transcranial Doppler.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School or GED (Required)
One to three months related Experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of and Experience . Formal classroom in Neurodiagnostic testing.
Requirements Employee will be required to sit for and pass both Part I and Part 2 of the ABRET registration examination.
Upon hire, Associate's have three years to complete their and obtain their Certification . Graduate of an accredited Neurodiagnostic technology program or equivalent formal training. Eligible for part I of the ABRET registration. One or more years of clinical Experience in Neurodiagnostic testing.Work Shift:
