    Responsibilities


    The Director of Nursing (DON) organizes and administers areas of clinical and patient care services to attain facility's objectives established by hospital administration.

    Hospital-wide programs, policies and procedures are developed to assess, evaluate and meet the needs of the patient.

    Develops and implements hospital plans for providing nursing care, treatment, and clinical services to those patients requiring care treatment and services.

    The DON participates with the management, medical staff and clinical leaders in the facility's decision-making structures and processes.

    The DON implements an effective, ongoing program to measure, assess and improve the quality of nursing care, treatment and services delivered to patients.

    Qualifications

    EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING


    • Current and valid state license as a Registered Nurse.2. Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.3. Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)-(AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.4. Minimum of 5 years Acute Care experience.5. Minimum of 2 years previous Administrative experience preferred.6. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required for all new hires after 1/11/2021.

    A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $109,428.80 to $147,284.80 on an annualized basis.

    The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
