    The Valve Services Coordinator role plays a pivotal role in managing all aspects of valve and service orders, from coordination to execution.

    Your responsibilities will encompass various facets of our Valve Division, including new valves, parts, repair, automation, and field services.

    The Job

    Coordinate day-to-day shop operations, including prioritization and scheduling of production activities.
    Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency while ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and service standards.
    Collaborate with Inside Sales and Shop teams to facilitate order coordination.
    Manage material and equipment rental orders, including updating costs and code material orders as necessary.
    Monitor and follow up on vendor orders to ensure timely delivery.
    Communicate potential production issues to Inside Sales and proactively address material delays.
    Authorize technician expenses and update service orders as required.
    Process Bill of Materials (BOM) changes and review labor allocation for orders in production.
    Review, QC, and update order notes, as well as prepare valve quality documentation for customers.
    Keep management informed of all activities through timely reports and quality documentation.
    Schedule and prepare paperwork for field service projects, including pre-job meetings and job binders.
    Maintain service calendar and technician assignments, ensuring timely job completion.
    Attend production meetings, provide meeting recaps, and communicate production/service priorities.

    Qualifications

    High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
    Collaborative team player with strong verbal and written communication skills.
    Demonstrated leadership abilities with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
    Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
    Effective time-management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
    Knowledge of material flow within shop operations preferred.
    Ability to work independently and collaboratively, taking direction when needed.
