Title: Registered Nurse Manager – Medical Surgical

Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire

Setting: Hospital – Med Surg, Leadership

Location: Kansas City, MO

Schedule: Full-time days, no weekends

Pay: $90,000-120,000/year based on education and experience

The RN Manager duties to include but not limited to:

• Provides nursing leadership for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care and safety in assigned areas of responsibility
• Collaborates with physicians and other departments to coordinate the needs of patients and their families
• Assures quality care through the initiation and evaluation of patient care utilizing performance improvement process
• Manages resources in a fiscally responsible manner; supports the mission and vision of the facility, division and company

REQUIREMENTS:

• Associates or Bachelor of Science in Nursing required, BSN preferred
• RN license in MO/compact
• Minimum 2 years staff RN experience in Med/Surg and 3 years of manager/charge experience, required
• BLS and ACLS required
