    Activision Blizzard Media ('ABM') is a rapidly growing business that has been crafted to connect advertisers with our 400MM+ global player base across Activision, Blizzard, and King. We are seeking a Senior Director, Global Client Solutions to report into the Global Head of Revenue. This individual will lead all aspects of Account Management in support of our Direct and Indirect Sales efforts.

They will be a proven leader with a blend of superior technical, operational and leadership skills continuously applied to improve the business and operations of the company. Additionally, they should possess exceptional attention to detail, strong initiative and critical thinking skills while serving as a hands-on leader and collaborator.

    Responsibilities:

    • Build the ultimate services environment for our global Sales team to globally be successful
    • Lead a team, dispersed across the US and UK, dedicated to servicing and growing a roster of key advertiser and agency accounts by working closely with Planning, Buying & Trading teams at media agencies
    • Build the Client Services practice and offering, by crafting training materials, standard processes, sales materials and customer facing guides on how best to work with ABM
    • Work closely with other Nordic, European and Global functions to ensure communication around the product line-up is globally aligned and improved for local relevance.
    • Work internally cross-functionally to develop processes and strategies that contemplate new means to deliver marketer value via our diverse audiences
    • Act as internal liaison between Sales and all other groups within the business to ensure efficient processes and clear communication
    • Handle roles & responsibilities across Account Management to ensure clear delineation of accountability areas, while encouraging effective teaming models across these roles globally
    • Find opportunities to increase efficiency among the team and work with team to deliver against these opportunities
    • Partner closely with Creative Services to support Sales on their advertiser mocks and needs. This involves leading a combination of inhouse and outsourced creative services companies to build more compelling advertising experiences, increase their win rates/ campaign sizes, while managing the costs of these services
    • Lead all aspects of a function that exemplifies accountability, communication, and nimbleness in partnership with the sales team

    Skills to create thrills:

    • Demonstrated experience in digital media/marketing account management or client services functions.
    • 12+ years of industry experience with 5+ years in a managerial capacity.
    • You have work experience in leading Account Management, within both a direct and programmatic media buying or selling environment, ideally within a relevant platform that holds purview to the rest of the ecosystem (DSP or SSP).
    • Self-starter The individual who will perform best will own their destiny; build a plan, request resources, offer support and ultimately champion your team with a driven and can-do demeanor.
    • You are both hard-working and a big problem solver.
    • Proven ability to drive through influence in matrixed environments. Independent-minded yet open, direct, informative, collaborative with the right level of diplomacy. Favorably influences cross-functional discussions.
    • Outstanding leadership skills with a history of recruiting and developing best-in-class teams and a reputation as an inspiring and motivational leader.
    • Superior communication skills – verbal and written, effective at Board and executive leadership levels and the cultural sensitivity to work well with a diverse group of colleagues.
    • Hands-on, entrepreneurial style with a strong bias for action and results; thrives in unstructured environments with a focus on innovation; collaborative and without ego.

    In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $164, $304,800.00 Annual. This base pay range is for the U.S. and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
