- Pick products and material for customer orders.
- Load delivery trucks and audit to ensure accurate materials are loaded correctly on each truck for morning deliveries.
- Assemble and stage orders to be shipped to customers.
- Accurately place materials on shelves, in racks or other designated warehouse storage areas in an orderly manner.
- Attach identifying tags or labels to material on pallets, cases, bales, or other containers.
- Prepare shipping documentation.
- Review all orders to determine if they were picked correctly.
- Ensure warehouse/equipment is maintained on a regular basis.
- Safely operate all warehouse equipment and observe safety procedures.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment.
- Able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Strong customer service skills with both internal and external customers.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Deadline-driven with results.
- Strong mathematical and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to stand for eight hours a day.
- Able to move/lift up to 75 lbs. unassisted.
- Able to push/pull up to 100 lbs. unassisted.
- Able to withstand temperatures in a typical warehouse environment.
- Position spends 100% amount of time standing, walking, lifting, pulling and pushing.
- Position may require climbing of ladders for top-level selection.
